Apparently, the last time I did a wishlist was April last year! Obviously, this calls for a new one! I have a bunch of things that I've been lusting over lately!

1. Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette. Saw this when Zoeva posted it on Instagram and I immediately fell in love! The colours are right up my alley.

2. MAC Whirl lipstick. Kylie Jenner. Need I say more? But no really, love her or hate her, you can't deny that her makeup game is on another level! I've heard she uses this colour. True or not, this colour is gorgeous nonetheless. A need in my collection!

3. Zoeva 109 Face Paint Vegan brush. I don't have a justification for this... I just want this really bad HAHA

4. TheBalm Mary-Loumanizer. So you know how Jaclyn Hill is all about that glow? And I love Jaclyn Hill. Obviously I need a killer highlight right? I don't think I can get my hands on her highlight in collaboration with Becca. So this Mary Lou-Manizer is the next best thing!

5. Zoeva 105 Luxe Highlight brush. Nope. Nothing to justify this urge to get this brush hehe. IT'S SO PRETTY.

6. Topshop Jamie Jeans. I've always wondered what the hype was all about with Topshop jeans. I don't see why people would pay over RM200 for a pair... until I tried them on! I may be exaggerating but dude, I've never been more in love with a pair of jeans before. The denim is so soft and they come in petite sizes, which is always a plus in my book!! I have the Joni jeans but they're tight as heck and aren't as comfortable and soft as the Jamie's! Need these jeans in every colour!

So NYFW was held recently and can we just talk about how many amazing shows there were?! I was so blown away by Monique Lhuillier, Marchesa and so many others! I thought I'd make a post sharing some of my favourite pieces from various designers because they're too stunning to not be talked about!

Hi! I know I haven't written in awhile but that's because I'm so swamped with assignments and lots and lots of studying. But I promise I'll be back once this semester is over. I already have a bunch of ideas on what to write about! I might even do some videos hehe. Watch this space! Let me just be done with the semester and I'll be back! Have a good day x

So my degree program commenced 2 weeks ago and I have been worn out since. I'm still trying to adapt to the new place and the timetable. I have a love-hate relationship with my timetable - mostly love though. My Tuesdays begin from 8am to 8pm! I don't have classes on Friday and that's always a good thing in my book. Gotta love the long weekends!! (Except today though because I have a replacement lecture this evening sigh)

I have said this countless of times on my social media, to my friends and family but I am SO happy I transferred to this new place. It's much more lively compared to what I was used to. I feel like there's always something going on on campus. I've gotten lost around campus many times too!

There was this thing called Orientation Bash that was held at Outbac Broga last weekend. It was one of the best experiences of my life. I made more friends, tried new things, got out of my comfort zone. I did just about everything at the place. I went on the Flying Fox - which was terrifying at first - did some wall climbing. The wall climbing bit was my absolute favourite. I've always wanted to try rock climbing but never had the money and people to do with. I think it's safe to say I did pretty well for my first time.

We also had this thing called The Amazing Race where we had to find clues and make Milo à la boy/girl scouts. We had to build a fire and make our drink with a tin and tap water. They made us drink it but I didn't because 1. I'm very particular about my Milo. Only a few mamak places makes it the way I like it. If it tastes bad, I'll probably throw up. 2. There were weird creatures in the tin!!!
The obstacles we had to go through to get our supplies for making the Milo were so exciting. We crawled in mud, swung on ropes across more mud, which I enjoyed so much! We also had to go in this body of water which I wasn't a fan of because I am terrified of being in water. My feet got stuck at the bottom of the pond every time I tried to walk. Oceans, ponds, lakes, seas, us humans don't belong in them. We belong on land hahah.

We ended our night with a BBQ dinner and a campfire. We had to grill our own meal and my chicken was barely cooked... But the fried rice was so good! The campfire was a great way to end the night. Everyone's performances were amazing! I highly recommend coming to this place with a bunch of your friends. I've had tons of fun!

So I have been feeling a little upset about something probably since I graduated from secondary school. Some may think it's a small matter but it bothers me to the point where I'd feel so low about myself. The thing is, I hate the fact that I don't earn my own money. It's not that I'm not grateful to have my parents still supporting me financially at this age. It's just that I'm about to turn 19 and I still have to rely on my parents for everything. I envy my friends who have part-time jobs. I envy them for being able to say that they could finally buy whatever they want with their hard earned money. Not to offend anybody but I personally find it embarrassing to admit that my parents pay for everything while I go around lepak here and there and buy things I don't need with THEIR money.

I bet you're wondering why I didn't look for a job when I have months off of school. A) I don't have my own car. So commuting from home to work would be a problem. B) There aren't a lot of places that are walking distance from my place. I did apply for a job at Starbucks because that's the closest from home but that didn't work out.

Don't get me wrong on this but this doesn't just come down to the fact that I don't have my own money to spend on unnecessary things. Sure, I wouldn't mind being able to purchase something from the new collection at Topshop or the new lipsticks from the Giambattista Valli collaboration with MAC. But it's also about the fact that I want to save enough money to lessen the burden of my parents. I have been dreaming about studying abroad for the LONGEST time. Studying abroad will obviously cost a fortune. I hate knowing that it will make it difficult on my parents, having to fork out so much on MY dream. The tuition fee alone costs a lot. That plus the cost of living and other personal needs? Yeah, you get the idea. I just want to contribute financially to this dream of mine. Even if it's just a small fraction.

For months, I've been trying to figure out what I can do from home to earn some money. Thought of selling DIY goods but that's not something I'm into. Baked goods? Yeah, not for me either. I kinda wished that I could turn my passion into a source of income ya know? I just don't know how.

I guess this explains why I haven't been posting much lately. I felt so down and... I guess you could say depressed, about the whole situation. I just wasn't feeling motivated to write about anything. I'm pretty sure the root of this feeling is the people I watch on YouTube. I watch people my age buying their first car and renting their first place with their own money. Being able to say that they're financially independent is something I long for.

I hope I didn't offend anyone with this post as it is not my intention! Hari Raya is this Friday and I'm most excited about the food!!! I hope there's Nasi Dagang on that day! Selamat Hari Raya to all! Maaf Zahir & Batin!

I've come to realise that I've not done a photo diary in forever! I haven't been taking a lot of photos lately. Hence, the lack of photo diaries. But I did drop by Laman Seni while shopping for Raya. I don't have much from that day though. The second I got there, it started drizzling. So I took as many photos as I could.

Nope, no idea what I was trying to do.

I was looking forward to taking photos with that colourful wall with the umbrellas but there were no umbrellas! The only umbrellas it had were waaaay above me! I'm pretty sure they also had chairs that go along with that mural but they weren't there too!

On a different note, we're almost halfway through the month of Ramadan! Who's excited for Raya?! I know I am! Ramadan Kareem to all!

So I received my BB1M vouchers awhile ago and I thought why not share it with you. At first, the list of books I wanted buy consists of nothing but fashion and beauty books. But after going through the Refinery29 book, I thought it was just a waste of money. I don't mean it in a horrible way but I feel like when it comes to fashion and beauty, you could always rely on the Internet. Personally, I don't think you need books on styling tips. Nonetheless, still an interesting read. Plus, I could always go through it when I'm in need of some inspiration. The only time I think it's okay to spend money on books about fashion and beauty is when it's about the history of it or something along those lines.
