I came across these 2 songs days ago and I can't stop listening to them, especially the second song!! It is SO GOOD! I imagined you would hear this edit of Chandelier at a bohemian-ish music festival. Such a good remix!

Also, I'm done with my Foundation. I can't believe how fast the past year went by. It has only been a few days since the last day but I miss my lil' bunch a whole lot! :(

1. I know I've mentioned that I'll be posting my makeup favourites soon but uh... I am in the midst of preparing for finals, which is next week. But it will be coming soon! I promise! Anyway, I had my last presentation of my last semester today. It didn't go as well as I'd hope for due to the fact that I had no idea what I was talking about. We were told to talk about macroeconomic issues in a country of our choice. Long story short, I didn't know what I was doing which resulted into me losing my confidence while presenting. Meh. Shit happens. You live and you learn.

*cue the separation anxiety*

2. Here's a wakeup call to everyone who thinks English is easy. It's not. So my program requires me to take English Language Skills 1 and 2. The first one was a piece of cake. I guess you could say I did pretty well. The second module was a killer. Never in my life have I gotten marks this low for English. I don't want to sound snobbish but I've always gotten an A for English. I think the only time I've gotten a B for English was when I was 12. But that was because I copied my friend's answer blindly, thinking it was all the right answers. Never again, bro. Never again. Anyway, it killed me to find out that I'm doing badly for this semester. I don't even have the guts to tell my parents. But hi parents, if you're reading this. I'm doing horribly for English. Luv u.
Because of how tough the subject is, I've become very paranoid with my grammar lol

3. You know how I mentioned I want to get a part-time job after foundation? Yeah, the only problem is transportation. I don't really have my own car to commute from point A to point B. I don't want to walk... I sound spoiled. But there are stray dogs out there and I'm terrified of dogs hahahaha. They're cute but my god, they look mean. Plus, you'll get catcalled. I've walked from my place to McD a few times and it was the most terrifying thing of my life HAHA. Ok but seriously, it really is sad for us girls to have the fear of being harassed when we're out alone or whatever, really. And did anyone read that article about that Indian rapist who said that "girls should allow the rape to happen" and how rape culture is becoming a norm in India? I can't even describe to you how disgusted I am by it. Girls do not belong in the kitchen. We are not objects to satisfy your 'needs'. You have no right to tell us what to do and/or how to live. The mentality some people have is revolting.
Ok how did I get from talking about a job to that? I want a job, man. I have a killer shopping addiction and a wishlist to match. The fact that I've already came up with a wishlist when I have yet to land a job is embarrassing. What if no one wants to hire me? There goes my hopes of getting my hands on some NARS products... and Topshop's Jamie Jeans. Sigh, why is NARS so expensive? Is anyone in Kota Kemuning looking for someone to hire? :-)

4. Uhm, it is that time of the year where I become sad over the fact that I'm not at fashion week. I need to attend at least one show at both New York and Paris Fashion Week before I die. I didn't watch much of the shows this season because you know... college is more important right now. I do remember watching Oscar de La Renta. I think it's safe to say that Peter Copping did an excellent job as the new creative director. I loved the collection!! There was one number in the collection that reminded me of a Russian mafia that I adored!! Want to see an ODLR show live one day!

5. I have yet to decide between University of Hertfordshire and University of Wollongong. Help.

6. I have plans on changing the look of my blog once I'm done with finals. I don't really have the intentions of actually purchasing a professional-looking theme at the moment because bro, it's expensive. But I want one! Is there anyway to change the way my blog looks like without having to purchase anything?

I can't be the only person who's obsessed with Rihanna's makeup right? Her makeup has been so amazing lately! I am dying to recreate these looks! I can't wait to finish my Foundation, get a part-time job somewhere and go on a makeup shopping spree! (And finally own Topshop's Jamie jeans! It is so comfortable!!)

A little over a week left 'til my final exams of my final semester of my Foundation. Yay!

I also came across a few Malaysian bloggers that I thought I should share with you guys. I would insert their pictures together with their links but I don't know if they're okay with that. Anyway...

1. Heeda Syafiqa // BeautyWithSyaf
2. Syairah // MakeupBySyairah
3. Izza-Atirah // izza-atirah.blogspot.com
4. Azhary // insideary.blogspot.com

My next post will be about my current makeup favourites! Be on the lookout for that one! :)

I'm at the stage in my life where I have to decide what I want to major in and frankly, it's stressing me out. You know how back in primary school, teachers would usually ask you what your ambitions are? A lot of my friends mentioned that they want to be a doctor, lawyer, you know... the generic ones. I remember how I wanted to become a scientist. And then, it changed to wanting to become the first ever Malaysian woman in outer space HAHA. Seriously! Next? Zoologist. And then I came to realise that I absolutely loved aeroplanes. By that, I mean the experience you get when you fly on a commercial plane. You know, how the pilots and flight attendants greet you with their charm or the hospitality of a certain airline. The overall experience of flying commercial. That's what I loved. I guess that's how the "I-want-to-be-a-pilot" thing started. For years and years, I've been telling everyone how much I wanted to be a pilot, how I wanted to learn how to fly a plane. When my dad asked "Why don't you just learn how to fly a plane just for the fun of it instead of wanting a career out of it?". Told him that it'd be boring. Flying a small plane would be boring. Not flying a commercial jet is the total opposite of what I wanted.

And then I found out that there's a height limit HAHAHA. Ok no, I honestly am not 100% sure about that height limit thing but it crushed me lol. Struggles of a person who's barely 5 feet tall. Slowly, my dreams of becoming a pilot faded. I mean, don't get me wrong. I still LOVE airplanes. I get so excited when I see a jumbo jet in the air! I guess some things aren't meant to be... That's when I went "Now what? What do I want to be now?". All those "ambitions" I had when I was a little girl are definitely not what I want to do, though being a zoologist would be an interesting experience. But I knew I didn't want anything to do with being a doctor, a dentist or anything everyone else is doing. I know that because when I went to the education fair a couple of years ago, all I saw were law schools, things related to medics and what not. And I went "Heck no. Not for me". The only thing that sparked my interests was Taylor's Culinary Arts program. Though I do enjoy cooking and eating (duh), it's not what I'm passionate about.

In fact, I had no idea what I was passionate about. So I went on a personal mission to find out what I was interested in. I started searching "Popular College Majors" and didn't come across anything that appealed to me. So I thought "Okay I'm doomed. I don't know what I like besides airplanes. I'm going to die jobless"

And then, a couple of years back, I came across a video of this YouTuber saying that she's studying at FIDM in LA. So I started reading about FIDM... and FIT in New York... and University of the Arts in London. I guess you could say I had an epiphany? Because I thought why not pursue a career in fashion or beauty. I do love both. And I have been watching fashion and beauty videos on YouTube since I was about 12 or 13. So... Clearly, there are things out there that I love other than airplanes. It just took me that long to realise it!

So I decided to go after it! Do fashion! So that's what I'm doing... Only not designing! I can't imagine myself being a designer. I can't draw to save my life! Now that's where the problem comes in. Yeah, it took me 4 paragraphs to finally mention about this "dilemma" of mine HAHA. Anyway, I want to work very, very closely with fashion and makeup but I don't know what. I thought I wanted to do marketing. Now? I'm not so sure anymore. I don't know if it's because I'm about to complete my foundation and the pressure is on me to choose a major or if I just really have no idea what I want! Does that make any sense?

How do you know if you chose the right major? How sure are you that won't end up hating it? All I know is that I really, really want to work in either one of the industries mentioned. A part of me is dying to go to an art school. Do Fashion Communications, Merchandising or Marketing even. I follow about 3 or 4 Malaysian girls who study at Central Saint Martins in London on their social media accounts. I get so excited seeing their Instagram pictures taken at the school. It must be nice to be working in such a creative environment. I want that. I daydream a lot in class about what it's like studying at an art school and how much better it must be compared to my current college. Not saying my college is bad but it's just not what I enjoy. I want to be drowning in a pile of fabrics and textiles and having to deal with assignments on the history of undergarments or even photography! Sigh.

Okay, here's another issue I have: Money. What I want is expensive. The cost of living in UK or the US plus tuition fees? It would cost me (my parents) a fortune! I don't want to do that to them but at the same time, I want this so much. Central Saint Martins, Fashion Institute of Technology and Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, my god. It would be such a dream come true if I ever get the chance to go to one of those schools. But I guess it's too late to consider fashion schools now. I've gotta work with what I already have. Honestly, it kills me to think that I might never have the chance to do something I truly enjoy. But you know... no rezeki. Nonetheless, I'm extremely grateful for everything I have. And can I just say how supportive my dad has been? He doesn't pressure me at all and completely supports me in going after what I want. Also, I found out only a couple weekends ago that he wanted to be a pilot because he loved flying! That would probably explain the tons of flying simulators thingy we have lying around the house. He said the only reason why he never went after his dreams was because he didn't had the chance to. I think he was only given the opportunity to do IT and he took it. I think if he was a pilot today, I would probably won't even be in this world. I probably won't exist if he flies planes for a living. But see, I think I inherited my love for flying from my dad and I find it cool hahah

Anyway, as of right now, my plan is to just get a marketing degree. Even if it's not from a fashion school. Graduate with a marketing degree. Move to New York City or London and work in fashion or cosmetics. Yup. Life goal. Always has been. Always will be.

Before you leave, can we take a moment to appreciate the beauty that is this coat?! I want.

Hello! Is it too late to wish you guys a Happy New Year? It's 2015! I'm turning 19 in 6 months. What. My baby brother - who's not so baby-ish anymore - is turning 17 this year. What. Growing up feels so weird.

Anyway, you know the whole "new year, new me" thing? Yup, my hair is now 5-6 inches shorter! Thought I changed it up a little and get out of my comfort zone, you know, because of the new year and all. HAHA I haven't had hair this short in a few years now. Would it be vain of me to say that I'm so in love with my hair right now? I think I've found my signature hairstyle hahahah. I don't have any decent pictures with the new 'do though. But think Lauren Conrad's bob from last year but just a tad bit longer. Yup. That was what I was going for.

Remember in one of my previous posts, I mentioned that I would get one of the NARS lipsticks from their Audacious line if my grades were good enough? Yeah, that didn't happen ahahah. A little bummed out over my results but I saw it coming so... This semester maybe. This lipstick will be my motivation to get kickass grades! It's so expensive but I want one so bad! I've heard so many good things about it on YouTube. I need one (or maybe all) in my collection! Also, Gerard Cosmetics lipsticks look incredible! Need! Fire Engine is such a gorgeous shade! And guys, Anastasia Beverly Hill's new line of liquid lipsticks, OH LAWD! Jaclyn Hill made a video on it and I sat infront of my laptop with my mouth wide open watching it. The colours are to die for!

I need them all. Anastasia, please sell your products in Malaysia!!

Okay, moving on. You know, I only wanted to share my current favourite songs in this post but then I started rambling. But I've been listening to these songs A LOT lately, especially Lorde's Buzzcut Season! I just find the song so "delicate" in a way. Please listen!

Oh and I binge-watched Scandal last week. It is so good! I want to be Olivia Pope!! Also, I can't be the only one who dislike Fitz... right? I find him a little too controlling. But Jake, omg, yes please. Him and Olivia are so perfect together! I can't wait for the show to be back!

No idea if this is the 7th of the whole photo diary thing but hi! I went to KLCC with my friends today! I don't have a bunch of good photos though... I have a few good ones taken at the park but not a lot of decent ones taken indoors. I honestly have no idea how to work a camera HAHA. All I do is use the "Auto" setting. Oh well, I'll learn eventually.

what am i doing?¿

so cute. farah, this reminds me of you.

normal. completely normal. as normal as the way I was holding the camera hahah

ur squad goals lol

Also, yesterday I found out that I have another week 'til the next semester. I thought this is already the last week but I read the calendar wrong. So, so glad there's another week to catchup with my friends! Can't wait to see them soon!
